VOLUNTEER
IN KENYA

Find out more about Volunteering with Memusi and the latest trips available for you to join.

PROGRAMS & PROJECTS.

Volunteering with Memusi is about you. We do not ask or demand a level of work; if you want to build a building that is fine. If you want to teach a class or play sports, that is fine. Equally, if you just want to spend time getting to know the children and communities that we support, that is fine too. We believe that every volunteer is unique and has unique skills and passions that we want to draw out to make this experience the best that it can be for you, but also the people that you support. Equally, if you don't know what you would like to do after speaking to us, we will discuss the pre-planned opportunities with you. We have had volunteers who have taught new sports, the recorder, about life under the sea. People who have got involved in manual projects from building to painting. Having had hundreds of volunteers support our work, the list of opportunities is endless.

Construction and Manual

Get involved in a building project, repair work or painting work if there are projects happening at this time at the project that you support.

Early Education

Early Education is based around play. Work alongside teachers each day and have fun creating and playing with the children

Sporting Excellence

Teach new sports. Develop skills in existing sports (football, volleyball, netball). If you have a passion for sports, our children will love it!

New Subjects

Do you have a passion for a particular subject. Develop lesson plans and work alongside a teacher to deliver lessons to all grades.

Healthcare

From a medical camp supporting the entire community to supporting a vitamin programme. Get involved in healthcare rollout.

All About You

You are unique. You don't need to fit into a category. So, tell us about you, your skills and your passions and we will make sure that your trip is tailored to you.
